In this role, you have the opportunity to
?Conducts scientific research on the principles and mechanisms related to obstetric and gynecological health issues, and applies the knowledge and expertise to develop innovative technologies and solutions.
?As part of a project team, carries on industrial research on nutrition and health related topics and delivers contributions to projects as required.
?Solves problems conventionally and independently, documents well the research outcome, delivers required research outcome in the form of IP, internal technical reports and quality publications, where applicable.
?Contributes to build up know-how and competency in the area of obstetrics and pediatrics.
?Contributes to new initiatives on research directions in the defined areas.
?Be responsible for maintaining and updating personal knowledge and expertise, in respect to innovation, new technical developments and quality, within his/her application areas.
?Maintains and strengthen the network in industry and academy, in order to participate in strategic platforms and to keep track of new developments.

Your challenge
?Carry out scientific research in the area of obstetrics and pediatrics, e.g., clinical care, operational flow, nutrition or lifestyle interventions.
?Identify research direction, discover new solutions and translate it into applicable working solutions/process for population health management.
?Execute research project(s) according to time, cost, and quality requirement, and achieve good balance, for the developed solutions, between the performance and consumer product compatibility (i.e., low cost and reliable).
?Work along with and influence other team members and stakeholders with different background.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
?Ph.D. in obstetrics, gynecology, clinical nutrition, or other related majors.
?Research experience in clinical trial, human observational or interventional studies is a must.
?Research experience in meta-analysis on the related topics is preferred.
?Relevant industry research experience is a plus.
?Hands on clinical research, knowledge of and ability to set up appropriate study conditions and maximize the likelihood of success.
?Excellent research capability demonstrated with good track record (e.g. publications at renowned international journals/conferences).
?Good analytical skills to understand and interpret data from human trials, as well from publications.
?Experience in working in project teams and cross-disciplinary cooperation is preferred.
?Effective communication skills, good grasp of English both oral and written.
